I'm a freelance artist and fine art teacher. My favorite art creativities including sculpture, oil painting, tranditional Chinese calligraphy, pottery, ceramic and fashion design.
I am a freelance artist based in California. After graduating from college with sculpture major, I became a freelance artist and art teacher. With the belief that art needs to be rooted in life and reality, my art creation is themed with beauty involved in daily life.
I started get training on traditional Chinese art from my early childhood. Pursuing of simplicity is the sprit I learned with this unique creative philosophy and try to carry-on into different forms of art. Just like in Chinese calligraphy, the most profound usually takes the simplest form of black and white. Such form can reveal complex color, space, lights and even emotion.
Art education is another area that I am enthusiastic about. I started my art class before graduated from college. Since then, more than 1000 students have been doing their creative work in my studio in both US and China. To me, the learning process is mutual, young students never stop bring me unexpected inspirations.
